Car Seat Installation / Inspection

Make sure your child rides as safely as possible. Our certified officers help you install and inspect car seats, confirming proper fit for your child and secure installation in your vehicle. We’ll show you how to use your seat with confidence to help keep your family safe on the road.

Why Car Seat Inspections Matter

Correct installation and proper use of a child safety seat significantly reduce the risk of serious injury in a crash. Even experienced parents can find car seats confusing because every vehicle and seat model is a little different. Our certified officers take the time to walk through installation, harness adjustment, and day-to-day use so your child is as protected as possible on every trip.

During your appointment, we focus on:

  • Selecting the right type of seat for your child’s height and weight
  • Ensuring the seat is installed tightly and correctly in your vehicle
  • Adjusting harness height, chest clip placement, and recline angle
  • Reviewing when to transition to the next stage of seating
  • Answering questions about Minnesota’s child passenger safety laws

To request an inspection, scroll down and complete the appointment request form. We’ll follow up to schedule a time that works for you.

Our goal is simple: safer rides for children and peace of mind for caregivers.
